When babies, toddlers, and small children watch something they like, they’re probably going to want to watch it many times, so it’s important that it be something the rest of the family likes too! They’ll probably imitate what is happening in the show too, so it’s important that the activities and behaviours are something you’re happy to see repeated in your house. This site lists some of our favourite TV shows and films to share with our child, M., who is 3. (L. is only 2 months at this point, so just goes along with whatever everyone else is watching!)
When not watching TV with their toddler, Emily is a composer (more info here) and Neil is an oceanographer (more info here). They recently relocated from Seattle to Glasgow.
Wonderful idea, Emily! Thank you. I’ve shared your link with Emily and Hannah.

Thanks for getting in touch, these are great suggestions! We’ve watched some of these too — Bluey, the Ruth Goodman series, Clangers, but I’ve gotten behind in updating the site! It’s always lovely to meet someone else with similar tv/movie taste!
